The API is not for everyone, generally only large portfolio owners and registrars will benefit from the API option. Any member that wishes to utilize the API will need to have programming experience, or employ a programmer to integrate the API.

Once a user has registered a domain name, they will be presented with the option to park the domain name using the registrar’s in house parking system. By deciding on this option, the API will automatically set up a NameDrive account using the same personal information as on the registrar. They can then administrate their parking account on the registrar’s site without ever having to visit NameDrive.com.

Domain owners keep full control of their domains, enabling them to change keyword / header / template settings as normal. All the benefits of using a parking program without leaving the registrar’s site.

All parking issues such as payouts, queries and complaints are handled by NameDrive staff, meaning no extra work for the registrar.
