About NameDrive Statistics
You can view your NameDrive statistics on a portfolio, folder and domain level. When you log into your NameDrive account, you see your portfolio’s performance broken down by folder. If you click on a folder, you will see the statistics for all domains in that folder. If you click on a domain name within a folder, you can see the day by day statistics for this specific domain.
The views on your domains are unique views. What is a ‘unique view’?
Unique is an Internet term which is defined differently by everybody you ask. At NameDrive, we clarify it as follows:
A unique is an identifiable, distinctive visitor to a site. The traffic on a domain is filtered by NameDrive so that it can be determined which of the visitors landing on the site are actually unique individuals i.e. ‘Uniques’ and which of them are fake traffic, bots etc.
Put simply, a unique visitor comes from a real IP address and does not repeatedly return to the site (within a certain time limit).
NameDrive is dedicated to providing our advertisers with the most targeted, authentic traffic possible to ensure that our customers are guaranteed the highest payouts and best traffic possible.
What is PPC / CPC?
Officially PPC is Pay-Per-Click and CPC is Cost-Per-Click. PPC is used to refer to the entire click advertising industry, the PPC industry. CPC actually refers to how much an advertiser has to pay for each click made on their advert but is often misused to refer to how much each click earns the owner of a parked domain. For this reason, we prefer to use PPC for our customers. This simply means how much you are, on average, being paid per click.

What is RPM?
RPM is not to be confused with CPM. RPM stands for ‘Revenue per Thousand’ and CPM stands for ‘Cost per Thousand’ (‘M’ being the Roman numeral for 1,000). CPM is how much an advertiser pays per thousand impressions (originally from the print advertising industry and is usually used for banner advertising on the Internet). RPM, one of the most vital statistics when it comes to domain parking, shows how much you receive for every thousand people looking at your site, thus giving a much more valuable figure than PPC and CTR on their own.
What is CTR?
CTR stands for Click Through-Rate. This refers to the percentage of unique visitors to your site who click on the adverts and is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by the number of views.
How are my earnings calculated?
Every time a unique visitor clicks the advertisements on your domain, you receive money in your NameDrive account. This amount depends on several factors, such as the user’s country of origin, their behaviour on the site, which ad they click etc. Unlike other parking companies, NameDrive displays the earnings directly as they are displayed to us by our advertising partner. Because they do not give real time earnings statistics, a generic, default PPC value is displayed for the first 24-48 hours after a click is made on your domains. Once we receive the earnings data, we update the default PPC with the real earnings. The default PPC values per ad region are:
North America: $0.11
Europe: $0.10
Latin America: $0.06
Asia: $0.03
Other $0.02
These values have been chosen so that they are lower than the average click price for each region, ensuring that the real PPC we display after the update normally rises. However, it is possible that the real click value is actually lower than the default value, giving the impression that the earnings have ‘dropped’. However, this is simply an update of a conservative estimate value with the real click earnings.
When viewing your statistics, the day when your stats were last updated is shaded grey. Once the statistics update has been done (normally around Midday EST / 6pm BST), the stats are never changed again.

Why does the average PPC fluctuate? My PPC for today is lower than it was yesterday. Why is this?
The bid prices for advertising on our advertising partners fluctuate frequently and the earnings for individual clicks can vary significantly depending on user origin, user behaviour, time of day etc. As NameDrive does not set standard per-keyword PPC rates, the real earnings paid to us can and do fluctuate daily. Interestingly, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are normally higher-earning days as they generally have more traffic and higher click prices than the latter part of the week and weekends. The earnings on a weekend when the weather is fine or many people are taking a national holiday will be lower than on other days.

Are NameDrive statistics real time?
ND traffic statistics are shown with a 2 hour delay. So something which happens now on your domains will be showin in your statistics two hours later.PPC statistics are displayed as a default for the first 24-48 hours after each click.

I have a click valued at $0.00. How is this possible?
This is a very rare, but not impossible, issue. An ad provider's minimum bid price for advertisers is $0.01. If an advertiser pays 1 cent for an advertisement, once our ad providers have taken their cut and NameDrive have taken our small commission, there is obviously little left to go around. If you look at the RPM for your ‘$0.00’ click, you will see that the click was actually worth (and counted in your stats) as a click of around $0.003/$0.004. This is a rare case but has a simple enough explanation.
How do I delete a domain?
Check the check box next the to domain you wish to delete and click the ‘delete’ button at the top of the page.

What are the folders in my account for?
To help you keep a tag on the domains in your account, you can create folders to bundle your domains together, much like you keep your documents in folders on your PC. You can use folders to separate well-performing names from badly-performing names, list names alphabetically or sort domains by type.
By clicking on a folder, you can see how the domains in that folder have performed. If you click on ‘Daily Stats’ while in a folder, you can see the entire folder’s performance on a day by day basis.
You can optimize your domains in bulk by changing attributes for an entire folder.

How do I delete the “Default / Deleted items” folder in my account?
The Default Folder and Deleted Folder are system folders which cannot be deleted.
The Default Folder is, as the name suggests, set as default whenever you add a domain to NameDrive. You cannot delete this folder but you can make it disappear by creating a new folder and moving the domains into the new folder. If the Default Folder is empty, it will not appear in your account.
The Deleted Folder is where domains go if you delete them. This ensures that you do not lose any statistics for domains you delete from your account.
How can I move domains between folders?
Create a new folder into which to move the domains if you don’t have one already. Click the small check box next to the domain(s) you wish to move and use the drop down menu in the middle of the page to select the folder to move the domain(s) to.
How do I delete a folder?
When on a portfolio level, click the check box next to the folder you wish to delete and click ‘delete’ at the top of the page.
If you delete a folder with domains in it, these domains will automatically go into the Default Folder.
What are popunders?
If you enable popunders on your account, every time one of your parked pages is visited, a popunder will appear behind the browser. These are served on a RPM basis (i.e. you are paid for the quantity of popunders shown, not for the clicks made on them). Please note, the number of views for your popunders will be lower than the number of views your domains receive for parking revenue. This is because of popup blockers which reduce the numbers of popunders displayed.
Popunder revenue is paid along with parking revenue on the 30th of the following month.
I have enabled the popunder option for my domains, but when I view my domains, no popunders appear. Why is this?
This is most probably because of your popup blocker either enabled on your browser or on another anti-spyware program. Popunders are shown to all viewers who do not have their popup blockers enabled
